We studied the work and activism of Keith Haring who raised awareness of the AIDS crisis through his bright dancing figures. I wanted to raise awareness of the 988 Lifeline using Haring's upbeat style, avoiding anything visually negative.

Our Aevidum club members chose a butterfly as a symbol to represent hope. Like the monarch butterfly that powerfully immigrates to find warmth, we hope others spread wings to find their happy places, no matter how current situation prevents them from reaching ideals. Our ultimate goal was to empower youth minds and help bring hope into them.

Everyone is facing their own struggles in day to day life. Many people feel lost or invisible through these tough times. However there is always a light, always help, and always a way.
