Students developed the idea for the video and acted in the scenes. They selected the signs and symptoms based on their own experiences. Having students share their experiences and portray them for others to identify was very empowering for our students. It gave them a way to share, "Watch for this. You need to see it."

Emma- I am very passionate about mental health awareness and would like to help people learn more about mental health and suicide prevention.

Rileigh- Mental health is a very important issue. It has affected me and my family for years. I hope to normalize the discussion around mental health so people are more willing to ask for the help they need.
